Spotify has decided to expand the company into Australia and New Zeland, after it launched in the US.

This new offering has the same characteristics than in the rest of the world. Users can either access 16 million songs for free but interspersed with adverts. Or for either $6.99 or $11.99 a month, the adverts will be switched off and mobile access granted.

BERKELEY – On my desk right now are reporter Timothy Noah’s new book The Great Divergence: America’s Growing Inequality Crisis and What We Can Do about It and Milton and Rose Director Friedman’s classic Free to Choose: A Personal Statement. Considering them together, my overwhelming thought is that the Friedmans would find their task of justifying and advocating small-government libertarianism much harder today than they did in 1979.

Nowadays, most personal or public opinions are shared online, above all, on Twitter.

On this social networking site, users can “follow” famous personalities, media, companies or sports teams. If some of them publish something interesting, the user can retweet (RT) it and share this information with all the followers.

To have lots of RT means that a lot of people is interested in what that person, companie, media, etc, says.

Two years ago a commission in charge of investigating allegations of misconduct sexual and abuse by Catholic clergy was established in Austria and finally they unveiled the results.

The commission dedicated €8 million from a compensation fund set up by the Austrian Catholic Church for compensating victims in cases they found to be merited.

The money would compensate Jews for the property seized by the Nazis, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius announced, naming the decision as “historic justice.” According to a report published on the online version of the Times of Israel, €35mn would be transferred to various public Jewish-related causes, such as education, culture and religion over a decade.
