'Your first EURES job' is the new project launched by the European Commission to help young people find a job in another EU country.
It's expected that, in its initial phase, the program will improve cross-border mobility for 5,000 people. At this moment, more than 5.5 million young Europeans are looking for a job.
It will also serve as a testing ground for transforming EURES - the network of Member States' employment services – towards a pan-European employment service.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending €170 million to the Republic of Georgia to upgrade and rehabilitate the East-West highway, which is a priority transport infrastructure linking Georgia’s capital city, Tbilisi, and its Black Sea ports with Turkey and Azerbaijan. A plane carrying 21 people crashed on 14 May in Nepal's northern Himalayas while trying to land. Authorities reported that 15 people were killed. Six survivors in critical condition were flown by helicopter to a hospital.
The plane reportedly hit a mountain while it was turning around to land at Jomsom Airport. The cause of the problem is not yet known, but it is thought that the plane might have suffered technical problems.

Given the chaotic political and economic environment that reigns in Greece after last Sunday's election, a disorderly bankruptcy in Athens becomes more likely with every passing day.
Incidentally, on 15 May a foreign law bond of €450 million expires and it is not clear if Athens will pay it or not. The caretaker Minister of Finance, Philippos Sahinides, said he cannot take the decision to pay it or not alone and he has asked the political party leaders of the new Parliament to decide on that, but nobody seems to care.
