The Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced on 9 May , that the government will cut gasoline and diesel prices by about 3 percent from May 10, for the first time in six months.
This plan comes in response to declines in international crude oil prices, while crude prices are falling as a weak economic outlook for the EU and the United States indicates a decline in global oil demand.
