Argentina seizes 1.5 tons of marijuana
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Argentine police have seized 1.5 tons of marijuana hidden inside a logging truck.
The pot was found at a saw mill in Buenos Aires province. Police also arrested two Paraguayan citizens and an Argentine in connection with the drugs.
Provincial Police Chief Hugo Matzkin said Friday that the drugs come from Argentina's porous northern border with Paraguay, Bolivia and Brazil.
Police say the logging truck came from Misiones province and arrived at the saw mill late Thursday.
