The international non-governmental organization Transparency International (TI) presented on 14 May its assessment of the Dutch national integrity system. TI found out that the corruption in the private sector was almost equal to the corruption by civil servants.

The World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF), an international NGO conceived in 1961, published today its ‘Living planet’ 2012 report. The study is released every two years and examines the planet condition.

The number of travellers to and from Dutch national airports reached an unprecedented near 54 million in 2011. The volume of goods shipped through the air barely increased from 2010 to 2011.

To put their public finances back in order and to restore public finances to health, after the strong budgetary deterioration following the eruption of the credit crisis, the European countries need to reinforce their economic growth potential and, in many cases, budget deficits need to be forcefully curbed to below 3% of GDP.
