Vattenfall and Siemens sign a wind energy deal
Sweden’s state-owned power giant Vattenfall has signed a two year framework agreement with Germany company Siemens for the supply of wind power plants in a deal worth 1.6 billion Swedish crowns (USD 260 million), the companies reported. Vattenfall said it was currently researching suitable areas to establish wind farms both onshore and offshore in the Nordic region.
