Tajik-Polish business forum in Dushanbe
Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Kremer heading an official delegation, which included representatives from 10 large companies of Poland paid a visit to Tajikistan on 4-5 November, Asia-Plus learnt from the MFA information department. During his stay in Tajikistan, the Polish deputy foreign minister had talks with senior representatives of the Tajik MFA and also participated in a Tajik-Polish business forum in Dushanbe. On the sidelines of the forum, several cooperation agreements between entrepreneurs of the two countries were signed. Slavomir Stsalkowski, the Counselor of Polish Embassy in Tajikistan noted that a government-to-government agreement on economic cooperation between the two countries would be signed in Dushanbe. It is the first step and a clear signal for Polish entrepreneurs that the governments support economic and trade relations between our countries, he said. Polish diplomat added that a Polish-Tajik intergovernmental commission would be established under the mentioned agreement. |
