Serbia, Montenegro ink economic cooperation deal
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and Montenegro Minister of Economy Branko Vujovic signed in Podgorica the Agreement on economic cooperation and the Agreement on mutual encouragement and protection of investments. Dinkic said that Montenegro is one of Serbia’s most important foreign trade partners and that the volume of trade is increasing every year. This year has been an exception though, due to the world economic crisis. Serbia still regards Montenegro as one of the most important partners for the future, and the agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments is important, considering the fact that our country now has invested approximately €200 million in Montenegro, said Dinkic and added that Montenegro investments are expected in Serbia. |
