RWE, strongest link for Belene
German company RWE is the strongest candidate for being the strategic investor in Belene Nuclear Power Plant, the BGNES agency announced, quoting sources, close to the procedure for electing a minority shareholder in the future second nuclear power plant in Bulgaria. The other candidate is Belgian Electrabel, owned by French company Suez. Talks have been heldwith both companies concerning the possibility of sharing the minority share on the condition that the leading role would belong to the German company.
