Fnac offering unlocked iPhone 3G in France
Following their trait of global success, Apple recently launched their iPhone 3G mobile devices in France through French retailer Fnac. Fnac would be selling the device unlocked and without a contract in this market, reports revealed last week citing the retailer. Earlier, Apple inked a deal with Orange to sell this mobile telephony device. The deal was exclusive and enabled Orange to sell the device locked and with a contract. This was against the government policies and it has been declared illegal. The case is being fought in the courts.
