EDF enters Greece
EDF Energies Nouvelles is expanding in Greece. The French company recently announced the commissioning of the Imerovigli wind farm with 30 megawatts in installed capacity on the island of Kefalonia. The wind farm will be developed by EEN Hellas, EDF Energies Nouvelles’ Greek subsidiary, EDF said in a press release. The farm is equipped with 10 wind turbines supplied by Danish manufacturer Vestas, each with three megawatts in unit capacity. The facility is 90 percent owned by EEN Hellas, EDF said in the release.
