Cornice Art fair is a new contemporary art fair in Venice, that will coincide with the 52nd Biennale 2007,  to provide a platform for major contemporary international art galleries who wish to take advantage of the atmosphere and universal attendance by collectors, critics, art historians and curators to the first few days of the Biennale. Cornice will provide a platform for 55 five major contemporary art galleries from around the world who wish to take advantage of the incredible atmosphere and near universal attendance by collectors, critics, artists and curators to the first few days of the Biennale.
Cornice, from its very first year, is proving to be the most international art fair in Italy, with over 70% of the galleries coming from abroad.
Contemporary paintings, photography, sculptures, video art and installations will be exhibited in a large, purpose-built pavilion in the Tronchetto area of Venice, which will also include an outdoor sculpture area, bars and a restaurant. 
The fair, which will have a range of stand sizes, will be housed in a large, purpose-built pavilion in the Tronchetto area of Venice, easily accessible by car, truck or boat, with ample parking nearby.
