China to finance power projects in Nepal
China has assurred Nepal of soft loans for two power projects worth 121 million Euro aimed for domestic consumption in the hilly country. A nine-member Chinese delegation that visited Nepal led by Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs He Yafei assured Nepalese authorities of soft loan by China’s Commerce Ministry for two projects. The money is part of a 130 million Euro concessional credit committed to Nepal by China’s stateowned Export-Import Bank.
