Rusky Island construction contract won for APEC Summit
Belarusian building companies will participate in the construction of facilities for the APEC 2012 Summit on Russky Island, off the coast of Vladivostok, according to the press service of the Far East Directorate of the Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation. The negotiations on the issue are carried out with several Belarusian companies with a rich building experience, highly-qualified staff and up-to-date construction equipment. Semi-skilled workers are widely involved on the construction sites at present. The general contractor plans to attract as many professionals as possible. The number of constructors is to rise to 8,000 people from the present 2,100. According to the press service, Belarusian companies offer reasonable prices for high quality works. The construction works on Russky Island are expected to increase three times this year. The financing will make up 29.3 billion rubles (4.5 times up from last year). |
