President al-Assad visit Croatia later this month

President Bashar al-Assad of Syria paid a two day visit later this month to Croatia upon an invitation of Croatia’s President Stjepan Mesic. President al-Assad met with President Mesic and senior officials to discuss bilateral relations between Syria and Croatia and the prospects of cooperation in different fields, as well as situation ant international and regional arenas, Javno reported. The Croatian President visited Syria in December 2008 and held talks with President al-Assad on enhancing bilateral ties and situation in the Middle East and Balkan. The Croatian President underlined his support to develop relations with Syria on all levels, adding doors are open between the two sides to reach this goal.
