5 IKEA’s coming to town
Swedish furniture retailer IKEA plans to invest more than 875 million Euro in Serbia for construction of shopping malls. The Chairman of IKEA Board of Directors, Mick El Olson, presented the proposal to Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, the Serbian daily Blic reported. The new facility will create more than 9,000 people. The same source says IKEA was interested in two locations in Belgrade, one location in Novi Said, Nis and Cacak under condition that the government provides the sites under beneficial prices.
