June sees some new routes for SkyEurope
According to Kika, on June 30 the company will launch a regular Kosice- Manchester flight three times a week - on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As of July 6, the SkyEurope planes wi ll fly Kosice-London Luton, and Poprad (Presov region)-London Luton four times a week. Kika said that the SkyEurope will also increase the frequency of its flights to Prague, especially morning connections, in which great interest has been shown. In winter 2008/2009 the company is considering opening other lines, for instance to Amsterdam. In 2007, SkyEurope transported a total of 200,000 passengers. In comparison, the number of passengers for this year had reached 170,000 by the end of April. According to SkyEurope commercial director Steven Greenway, the airline expects to transport 400,000 this year and 500,000 by the end of next year.
