If you bring your smartphone, tablet or e-book with you into the bedroom every night, you must know that you are not the only one. This may be seen as normal, but in fact it's a problem and it could be disrupting your sleep.

According to several studies, blue light often emitted from cell phones, some digital alarm clocks, and computers may disrupt circadian rhythms, leading to poorer sleep.

Likewise, being woken up by a text can also change our sleep patterns and bad sleep can lead to a number of health problems, including obesity and diabetes.

The infographic below, which was created by the site Take Part, shows how technologies, such as TV, video games and mobile phones, are infiltrating our bedrooms and making it difficult to sleep.

The picture explains that people between 46 and 64 are the generation who like watching TV before going to sleep more. 55% of tech-lovers between 13 and 18 surf the Internet almost every night within an hour of bedtime, and 56% of them text or use their mobile phones.
